Are you an avid Canine Freestyler? Or, would you like to be?

‘Its Magic!’ offers live Online freestyle classes  with Ray Underwood and his dog, Magic, using the Zoom® platform.  Classes are kept small (no more than 5-8) to allow the Instructor to give timely on-the-spot personal feedback.

All you need is a webcam (standard on most laptops and all tablets), a free Zoom® account, and enough space to work your dog (c. 10′ x 10′)

Class Levels

Our classes are meant for all levels of freestylers, but some require a little more previous experience so we have broken them down into approximate levels.   In addition, most of our classes are meant to be taken multiple times and the Instructor will modify the class to suit the experience level of each participant.  If a specific Freestyle element is required for a class, it will be included in the course description.

If you aren’t sure if a class is right for you, send us a note!

Starters

These classes are appropriate for Handler & Dog teams who have little to no Freestyle experience. We recommend that teams with no prior experience consider taking the Foundations class at least twice until they are comfortable in the basics before moving on.

Intermediate

This level of class is appropriate for Handler & Dog teams who have taken a couple of our Foundations classes or Beginner classes from other organizations. It is assumed that they have basic heeling skills and positions such as Sit, Down, Stay, etc. It is also expected that they have started working on Weaves and positions on all sides.

Advanced

These classes are meant for Handler and Dog teams that are more Advanced, and have some competition or presentation experience and are well versed in heeling and positions on all sides (Right, Left, Front, and Reverse), as well as Freestyle elements such as weaving, circle backs and a variety or tricks.
