This is a brand new class for March 2021!

Many of these tricks can be added strategically to your routines to elicit feelings of “awwwww“!   They are cute and add a touch of emotion to any performance.  As well as learning how to do the trick, we will touch on the best way to integrate them into your routines.

Students will be asked to submit 2-4 tricks that they would like to learn and we will work through them together with everyone.

Some possible tricks:

• Crawling weaves
• Roll-overs; under the handler
• Paw crosses
• Shy/face wipe
• Head down
• Sleep/play dead
• Push-ups (down to stand)
• Beg
• High-fives
• Crawling pivots
• Back around an object
• Feet on an object and rotate around

Requirements:

• A happy, willing dog!
• A Webcam with a microphone (on a computer or a tablet)
• A free account with ‘Zoom’
• At least an 8’ space to work in

Level: Intermediate

This level of class is appropriate for Handler & Dog teams who have taken a couple of our Foundations classes or Beginner classes from other organizations. It is assumed that they have basic heeling skills and positions such as Sit, Down, Stay, etc. It is also expected that they have started working on Weaves.
